MyBudget AI is a local-first app. Your financial data is stored only on your device — we operate no servers and never receive your transactions, balances, or budgets. This policy explains the limited data handled by the optional third-party services the app relies on.

1. Who we are

MyBudget AI ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal finance manager published by Mirolim Yadgarov. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Our core principle — local-first

3. Data processed by third-party services

Some optional features rely on third parties. We only enable third parties that are committed to protecting your data to a standard consistent with this policy, and we share only the minimum data needed for each feature. Here is exactly what each one receives:

3.1 AI features — OpenAI

When you use the AI Advisor or AI Chat, the App sends a summary of your finances — such as spending totals by category and recent transaction descriptions (typically the last 90 days), converted to your base currency — to OpenAI's models to generate insights and answers. We do not send your name, email, or device identifiers. If you do not use the AI features, no financial data is sent. OpenAI processes this data under its own privacy policy.

If you attach a photo in AI Chat (for example a receipt or a price tag), the image — resized on your device before sending — is transmitted to OpenAI solely to recognize it, such as reading a receipt total or assessing whether a purchase fits your budget. We do not store these photos, and under OpenAI's API terms they are not used to train its models. You decide when to attach a photo; if you don't attach one, no image is sent.

3.2 Push notifications — OneSignal

If you enable notifications, OneSignal receives a push token, basic device information (model, OS version, language), and tags for your app language and base currency so we can deliver reminders and re-engagement messages. No transaction amounts, balances, or other financial figures are sent.

3.3 Subscriptions — RevenueCat & Apple

If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat manages your subscription status using an anonymous, app-generated identifier. We never receive your payment card details.

3.4 Currency exchange rates

The App fetches up-to-date exchange rates from a public rates provider. Only a standard network request is made — no personal or financial data is sent.

3.5 Contacting support — Telegram
